Work Schedule:

Per Diem Option 1A, must commit to work a minimum of 16 hours, per four (4) week scheduling period in direct patient care. One shift must be an evening, night, weekend or holiday as applicable to operations. You will work on site at 8501 Excelsior Dr. in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:

  • From our eICU command center at 8501 Excelsior Drive, provide virtual support for UW Health, Meriter, Monroe, Freeport, Richland, and Medford patients for patients with acute illnesses as well as management of patients with chronic conditions in a team oriented environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.
  • Work collaboratively with RNs, a nursing assistant and an intensivist each shift. Nurses on this team have an average of 19 years of ICU experience!
  • Virtually round on patients, admit patients, and respond to changing vital signs.
  • Collaboratively mentor RNs at customer sites through the mentorship program.

Education:

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Five (5) years of recent adult critical care experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact. Current CPR/BLS Certification. ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Preferred - Relevant certification.
