Interstate Power Systems is looking for an experienced Industrial Crane Mechanic/Technician for our Gillette Wyoming location. We are offering highly competitive wages!

Industrial Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various types of crane equipment including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler Cranes, Boom Trucks, etc.) Crane experience is a plus. Must have mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic aptitude.

Industrial Crane Technician Requirements:

• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
• Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, timesheets, hours overviews, work orders and expense reports.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends. Travel is required periodically for 1-to-4-day intervals.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Good mechanical and some electrical aptitude
• Willing to work in dirty, hot, and cold environments.

Industrial Crane Technician Desired Skills/Qualities

• Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them.
• The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• CDL is a plus.
• Crane experience is a plus.
