What You'll Do

The Tooling Technician will be responsible for the manufacturing and finishing of our production and prototype thermoforming tooling and parts. The essential duties are as follows but are not limited to:

• Building and finishing/polishing our production and prototype tooling and parts by hand and using tools; examination of all surface areas during finishing process.
• Performing service and periodic maintenance on vacuum forming tools
• Assisting in tool changes
• Utilizing carpentry skills to build tooling fixtures and shipping crates
• Assembling and gluing modeling boards for CNC machining
• Assisting in shop maintenance tasks as necessary

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Local candidates only
• Must have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Must be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing projects
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

What We Value

• Benchwork and/or tool finishing/polishing experience strongly preferred
• Tool & Die maintenance experience strongly preferred
• CDL certification is a plus
