IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager in our office. As a Senior Civil Project Manager you will be responsible for providing a high level of leadership, mentoring and training for less experienced staff.

Some key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Makes major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff

  • Plans design work by discipline for all project sizes and assigns duties to staff working on projects

  • Reviews correspondence prepared by junior staff

  • Actively participates in quality control of projects

  • Ensure the utilization of sound engineering/design procedures and monitor that of the team

  • Help to ensure the team is working efficiently to produce a quality product by providing training and instruction in day-to-day activities of less experienced designers and CAD operators

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:

  • Technical mastery in all aspects of land development civil engineering, including: roadways and streets, grading, SWM/BMP, erosion and sediment control, storm sewers, sanitation, and water design

  • Ability to mentor, motivate, and lead others

  • Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise

Education and experience requirements are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering

  • Professional Engineer license

  • A minimum of 8 years of qualifying experience
