Lake Cumberland Medical Assoc
Description

Responsible for the development, implementation, staff training and coordination of Point of Care Testing. Facilitates compliance with regulatory requirements, procedures, and policies. Performs technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology and immunology.

Qualifications
Minimum EducationAssociate of Applied Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biology or Science AND certified as a MLT (AMT, ASCP, or NCA).OR) Anyone who graduated before 4/24/1995: Must have graduated from an approved or accredited Medical Laboratory or Clinical Laboratory training program or have successfully completed at least a 50 week official US military medical laboratory procedures course and have held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician).
Minimum Work Experience3-5 years experience in general laboratory.
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Work Schedule Day shift, 7-10 hr/shift, weekdays only
