Stellar Solutions is seeking a satellite control Network Systems Architect. The successful candidate will have familiarity with DoD, Commercial and IC network architecture design, standardized TCP/IP interfaces, operational requirements, protocols, dynamic and real time optimized contact scheduling and orbit analytics. Excellent writing skills are required as is familiarity with digital engineering environments.
As a Network Systems Architect, you will work with a small team to accomplish various studies within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of contractors and government professionals. The successful applicant will have excellent theoretical knowledge of engineering principles and practical construction experience.
Responsibilities include performing detailed studies and requirements validation of current network "as is" baselines, developing recommendations for system improvements and efficiencies for "to be" architectures and recommending phased approaches to implement and integrate design upgrades. The position requires conducting inerviews of existing stakeholders, distilling information for audiences to prepare presentations, field reports, cost estimates, and design reviews. Candidates must be professional, self-starters, innovative, have strong communication skills, and work well with engineers, technicians, and customer staff.

Security Clearance & Other Requirements:
The typical pay range for this position is USD $200,000 - $250,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).
Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
