Job Description

Essential Job Duties

  • Maintain vehicle/equipment condition by testing vehicles and following operating instructions.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
  • Repair or replace broken components of equipment, including repairing engine failures, and repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions.
  • Reassemble equipment after completion of testing, inspection, or repairs.
  • Maintain records and document services and repairs.
  • Maintain supplies and call for necessary repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required
  • Diesel Tech education or Associates Degree preferred
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull 45+ pounds regularly
  • ASE Certification preferred
  • Work experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drive train, controls, and electrical diagnostics preferred
  • Class A CDL preferred
