Position Purpose:

The Senior Manager IT GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) will report to the Director of Global IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and will be responsible for assessing and driving the effectiveness, stability, and efficiency of IT and Business Process controls across the enterprise. The Senior Manager IT GRC will lead a team to support Control Owners, identify potential gaps and recommend specific actions, and design enhancements for internal controls.   

Key Job Activities:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Background experience in Audit (Internal Audit, External Audit, Big 4, business, or IT) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading practice IT controls frameworks and audit methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory concerns impacting SAP environments, including Sarbanes Oxley
  • Advanced knowledge of evaluating internal controls, developing recommendations, designing and implementing solutions
  • Functional knowledge of SAP, SAP GRC Access Controls and Process Controls a plus
  • Demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter, exhibits strong problem-solving skills, and ability to deal with changing priorities
  • Advanced skills and hands-on experience building tools and presentations with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles (planning, organizing, and managing assessment process)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization with the experience and ability to work in a collaborative team environment with individuals at all levels of the organization. 
  • Experience managing teams, coaching, and mentoring team members 

Education:


Preferred Education: in Information Systems or Computer Science

Experience (North America):

•    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
•    7+ years of relevant work experience
•    Demonstrated experience with leading practice IT controls frameworks and audit methodologies
•    Strong understanding of regulatory concerns impacting SAP environments, including Sarbanes Oxley
•    Advanced knowledge of evaluating internal controls, developing recommendations, designing and implementing solutions
•    Relevant certification strongly preferred (e.g. CISA, CPA, IAPP, CISSP, CIA, CISM, CRISC, CIPP)  
•    Background experience in Audit (Internal Audit, External Audit, Big 4, business, or IT) is strongly preferred  
•    Demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter who can utilize strong problem-solving skills to generate creative solutions to complex issues.
•    Demonstrate the ability to deal with changing priorities and multi-task several projects with the ability to succeed well under pressure, grasping new ideas quickly.  Possess an “All In” attitude and embrace the ability to be part of a high performing team, focusing on adapting and overcoming obstacles.    
•    Demonstrate the ability to generate new ideas; recognize the need for and develop new approaches to problem resolution.
•    Advanced skills and hands-on experience building tools and presentations with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•    Advanced knowledge of project management principles (planning, organizing, and managing assessment process)
•    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization with the experience and ability to work in a collaborative team environment with individuals at all levels of the organization while building credibility and maintaining trust.  Exhibits empathy and sensitivity for the needs of others.  Is perceived by others as being helpful and supportive.
•    Experience managing teams, coaching and mentoring team members, and ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones
•    Able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently, as part of a team, and leading a team
•    Ability to manage and collaborate with onshore and offshore cross-functional teams
•    Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques
•    Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), who can articulate complex IT/risk concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Excellent time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
•    SAP functional knowledge a plus
•    SAP GRC Access Controls and Process Controls experience a plus, not required
•    Background SAP Security or Identity & Access Management a plus

Certifications and/or Licenses:


Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
