Overview

Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Cardiology Clinic, Janesville WI
  • 64 Hours/2 Weeks
  • Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri - Day Shift, No Weekends

Responsibilities

  • Rooms and prepares patient for examinations and procedures.
  • Collects patient assessment information.
  • Assists physicians during treatment, examinations, and testing.
  • Reinforces patient teaching provided by physician and provides basic healthcare instruction to patient and family.
  • Performs EKG's.
  • Documents patient care and related information.
  • Participates in QA&I.
  • Prepares and maintains patient charts.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and assist with procedures.
  • Able to lift, restrain and ambulate patients.
  • This position requires the employee to frequently stand, walk, handle, finger, feel, reach, talk, and hear. The position requires the employee to occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell.
  • Vision requirements include frequent close vision, color vision and occasional distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This position requires the employee to frequently exert up to 50 pounds of force and occasionally up to 100 pounds of force.

Education and Experience

Graduate of an accredited LPN program


Certification/Licensure

Valid Wisconsin or IL LPN License


Special Physical Demands

Manual dexterity to operate equipment and assist with procedures. Able to lift, restrain and ambulate patients. This position requires the employee to frequently stand, walk, handle, finger, feel, reach, talk, and hear. The position requires the employee to occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell. Vision requirements include frequent close vision, color vision and occasional distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position requires the employee to frequently exert up to 50 pounds of force and occasionally up to 100 pounds of force.
