The Account Manager (Sales Lead), at Fiskars Group is a unique blend of business acumen, interpersonal finesse, and strategic vision. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to elevate the brand and expand our presence within iconic accounts such as Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macy's, Dillard's, Belk, Von Maur, Williams Sonoma and beyond. Your role is more than just selling; it's about expanding our presence into new territory (south central US), It's understanding the intricate desires of our customers and tailoring our strategies to exceed their expectations. It's curating experiences, forging deep connections, and building partnerships that elevate our brand to new heights. Your mission will be to understand customer challenges, priorities, and needs, know the key decision-makers, and orchestrate sales that set new industry benchmarks.

This is a remote role based out of North Texas and will manage the south central US territory. The role is full-time and reports to our Sr. Sales Director, Sales Americas Vita.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT WATERFORD, WEDGWOOD + FISKARS LUXURY BRANDS / FISKARS GROUP

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for generating profitable business within an assigned groups of accounts, territories or channels by developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies and tactics. It is also directly responsible for expanding new relationships and cultivating existing account relationships by:

  • Travel: 25%-50%
  • Learning detailed information about the customer (including strategic challenges and priorities);
  • Identifying key decision makers and coordinating necessary meetings (including Top to Tops) with the account and Fiskars teams;
  • Prioritizing opportunities critical to the customer/account - includes in-line, new category and promotional;
  • Ensuring professional sales coordination and planning (including forecast/report sales accuracy) and develop and deliver account proposals and market plans.
  • Responsible for managing the line review process for their respective account - includes efficiently utilizing all Fiskars resources (channel, product marketing, pr, sales analytics).

Additional key responsibilities:

  • Building account relationships and generating profitable business directly with customers, understanding the customer challenges, priorities and needs, as well as by knowing detailed information about the account, who the key decision makers are and what it takes to close the sale.
  • Analyzing sales data and providing accurate forecasting to ensure operational efficiency and high levels of service
  • Providing appropriate sales planning and coordination by working with marketing and NPD in order to create comprehensive sales plans and proposals that sell profitably for key customers and rep. groups.
  • Managing expenses, as well as account administration, to ensure that internal and external resources are utilized accordingly to develop and strengthen relationships directly with key customers and rep groups.
  • Coordinating and attending sales shows to create awareness and develop sales opportunities in key strategic channels to ensure that Fiskars brands are viewed as a leader in the market and a desired partner.

WHO YOU ARE

We are seeking an individual with progressive wholesale experience in luxury goods, someone who thrives on building account relationships and generating profitable business directly with key customers.

Experience, education, & knowledge:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years progressive wholesale experience in luxury goods
  • Interpersonal Communication
  • Customer Focus
  • Planning Skills
  • Analytical Reasoning
  • Business Acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets for key accounts

Language skills:

  • English as a daily working language
