Job Description
DSI Real Estate Group, a leading real estate management and community development organization dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service to the communities we serve, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Vice President. In this role, you will oversee the operational and financial performance of DSI and our portfolio. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a proven track record in residential and commercial property management, working knowledge of accounting principles, and a passion for delivering unparalleled service to our team, our tenants, and our partners.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to the DSI team, ensuring the successful execution of day-to-day operations.
  • Manage all residential and commercial property operations, overseeing leasing strategies, maintenance programs, and capital improvement initiatives to ensure optimal performance and tenant and owner satisfaction.
  • Supervise homeowner and condo association operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and efficient administration of community engagement.
  • Oversee the financial performance of DSI and residential and commercial properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, vendors and other key stakeholders, servicing as the primary point of contact for property-related inquiries and issues.
  • Staying abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization and across all managed properties.
  • Collaborating and mentoring team members to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications I We are looking for candidate who bring a unique blend of skills and experience to this role:
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role in the property management field with a demonstrated track record of success in overseeing residential and commercial portfolios.
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, and employee management.
  • Ability to plan, streamline and implement new operational structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Strong knowledge of property management and tenant/landlord practices, laws, rules, and regulations. Good command of leasing and marketing practices.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and act on issues and/or problems, reach sound conclusions and take appropriate action.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Proficiency in property management software and financial analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of local real estate laws, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • A valid WI Real Estate Broker'slicense, in good standing, or the ability to achieve one within 90 days of hire.
  • A valid driver's license, in good standing.
