Location: Mazomanie, WI, 53560
Are you an experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor looking for a new challenge? Wick Buildings is seeking a talented individual to join their team in Mazomanie, WI. As a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily incoming and outgoing shipments, leading a team of 3-5 employees.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in material handling and physical inventory management.
- People management skills.
- Ability to drive a yard truck and move semi-trailers, both empty and loaded, up to 100' in length.
- Ability to learn and adhere to DOT regulations for loaded trailers.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Ability to obtain forklift and skid steer certifications.
- Ability to handle moderate physical activity in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn and use custom-built Wick software programs.
- Interpersonal communication skills, both within the plant and across other departments.
- Flexibility in a fast-paced, and quick-changing environment. Ability to react to late changes.
As a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines and procedures throughout the plant. You will supervise and manage the shipping and receiving departments, ensuring all shipments are loaded accurately and on time. You will manage the receipt of inventory, verifying the correct material, and proper storage. You will also manage inventory locations, ensuring accurate inventory counts and rotation, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
