Quartz is seeking detail-oriented individuals to process enrollment transactions, including entering new member benefit selections and disenrolling members from the system, and processing member benefit changes while applying eligibility rules & requirements.

Benefits:

    Starting pay: $20/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Process enrollment transactions, including entering new member benefit selections and disenrolling members from the system, and processing member benefit changes or eligibility requirements
  • Process, review and compare electronic and roster files, investigate and update other insurance, and process other enrollment-related reports
  • Work closely with members, group contacts, agents and regulatory agencies to answer enrollment-related and eligibility inquiries and ensure all enrollment regulations and requirements are met
    • Identify and resolve issues, including reconciling any eligibility discrepancies
  • Understand and remain knowledgeable of all enrollment regulations, including but not limited to: effective dates, termination dates and other eligibility-related regulations and requirements
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience within the health insurance industry or healthcare field
  • Fundamental knowledge of health insurance practices, regulations, procedures and/or medical terminology
  • Previous computer experience and proficiency with web-based computer applications and Microsoft programs
  • Experience working with Epic applications is preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • People-oriented, with the ability to show empathy and compassion, along with the willingness to be helpful
  • Ability to multitask - specifically able to efficiently navigate through multiple computer applications and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a team environment and independently as a telecommuter
  • Excellent attendance record

These full-time positions will work remotely. Ability to commute to one of our offices in Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI at least 1-2 times a year. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
