Location: Hybrid (4 days a week in the office)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm or 7am - 4pm

What work will you perform?

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting strategic and tactical HR initiatives with emphasis on attracting talent, employee relations, policy administration, and compliance. You will support the growth and development of the business and its people through targeted, legally compliant HR guidance and expertise. This role will have a heavy emphasis on Talent Acquisition.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Applies consistent administration of human resources policies providing guidance as appropriate
  • Develop job postings/advertisements
  • Proactively source, screen, interview, and present applicants to hiring teams for assigned openings
  • Facilitate an OFCCP compliant interview process for all assigned searches
  • Manage administrative aspects of process including interview scheduling and background processing
  • Negotiate employment offers and close candidates
  • Processes new hires, internal transfers, and promotions in Dayforce
  • Mediates and resolves employee relations issues with equity and professionalism
  • Fosters strong partnerships between management and employees, ensuring a positive work environment, increased productivity, and retention

Required Minimum Experience and Education:

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of human resources generalist experience
  • 1 year of recruiting experience

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Certified HR professional - SHRM PHR, SPHR, or SHRMCP, SHRMSCP

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including MS Teams
  • Strong proficiency with HR systems
  • Knowledge of HR regulatory requirements and employment law
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
  • Ability to obtain an HR certification
