Daikin Applied is now hiring for a Project Engineering Co-op in the Pensacola area!

Timeline: This Co-op opportunity will begin Fall 2024 and additional rotations.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Review plans and specs to create sales proposals and estimates for HVAC engineered equipment
• Research sales opportunities
• Work closely with Field Sales Engineers on design build and new construction projects
• Participate in lunch & learns with local Engineering Firms
• In each rotation the student will typically work on several engineering projects that will directly impact Daikin Applied's business

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related major.
• Successfully completed Thermo-dynamics I
• Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred:

• Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software
