Part-time per diem position. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to:

  • Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging.
  • Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.
  • Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Previous healthcare experience.

Preferred - Two (2) years clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations. (RDMS) in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • RVT credential must be earned within 24 months of completing orientation, if not already acquired.
  • CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.

Preferred -

  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT.
