Join the University Housing Facilities Team as a Facilities Technician III. We are seeking energetic and skilled candidates to provide repair and maintenance of all mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration systems. Work with a team of professionals focused on excellent customer service with no sales component. Base hours are all daytime hours with flexible start time. This position may have scheduled on-call with standby and overtime call back compensation or a rotating weekends schedule.

Preferred

Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of commercial maintenance experience.
Preferred:
- More than 2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Related experience in a commercial, industrial, hotel, large multi-family, hospital, or similar environment
- On-call experience
- Industrial, technical, or HVAC-related degrees or certifications
Required
Drivers License - Valid and Meets UW Risk Management Standards
Base hours will have a flexible start time: primary schedule is Monday - Friday with hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm with on-call or weekend rotation as required by the department.? Schedule will be determined upon hire.

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

This is a full-time appointment. The starting hourly wage is $25.00 or higher based on qualifications and includes a competitive retirement and benefits package.
