OVERVIEW:

The role requires 1 day per week in our Madison, WI headquarters.

The Deposit Operations Specialist focuses on executing tasks related to the Banks deposit accounts. Wire transfers, account maintenance, account reconciliation, and client support will executed with extreme detail in this role.

Essential responsibilities of the Deposit Operations Specialist:

    • Wholesale lockbox setup/maintenance and client assistance
    • Reviews account documentation for completeness and accuracy and tracks exceptions
    • Sweeps set up and maintenance
    • Balancing of various G/Ls and DDA accounts as assigned
    • Edit/verification of maintenance performed on the system
    • Check adjustment processing
    • Exceptions processing: reg E disputes, overdraft processing, non-posts, Fed returns
    • Fraud cases
    • Wire transfer processing and client support
    • Deposit and Client documentation retention management
    • Consumer Electronic Banking client support
    • General awareness of compliance and the processes and procedures currently in place.

Position Requirements:

  • 2+ years of banking operations experience required
  • General knowledge of Federal and State banking laws and regulations governing checking and savings account practices
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Demonstrated success with written communication, and ability to assess and analyze information, formulate conclusions and recommendations
