Starting Pay Rate: $18.00

Time Commitment: Full-time

Role Summary

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of corporate venture capital. The candidate will have the chance to work closely with experienced investment professionals, engage startup founders, contribute to investment research projects, learn about the venture capital asset class, and gain insights into the strategic decision-making processes of our firm.

Description of Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and prepare materials for an investment thesis within Digital Power.
  • Work with the team to identify qualified investment prospects and help in the early stages of evaluating target companies.
  • Update our team's marketing materials (Portfolio Look-Book + One-Pager)
  • Evangelize Southwire Technology Ventures on our social media channels
  • Refer relevant publications and generate insights for our investment theses..

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or like field
  • An interest in venture capital
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Research skills, Written communication skills, Interest in energy technologies
