Responsibilities

As the Director of SIMS Analytics & Experimentation, you will report to the Senior Director of Fan Intelligence Analytics & Reporting and have the primary responsibility of developing a marketing experimentation program for revenue optimization for the SIMS game. You will assess and oversee the driving of analytics and data science models & solutions to create evidence-backed hypotheses that result in delivery of measuring incremental revenue and insights for further optimization. You will:

  • Work across the Experience Organization Studio, Commercial, and Corporate Strategy organization to design marketing experimental strategies for one of EA's mega franchises; the SIMS, to increase incremental revenue and advanced insights for optimization and future planning. This will require leading discussions with senior leaders within the Office of the Customer Experience Organization to create strategies, promote agreement; and architect proposed solutions for revenue opportunities.
  • Lead informal teams across the disciplines of analytics and data science to help create models and data or analytical solutions that are important in identifying and measuring revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee the strategy and project coordination for gathering and analysis, inclusive of consumer insights that will be used to measure and identify our ability to progress and produce revenue for the SIMS.
  • Partner with our SIMS Brand and Franchise teams to gain agreement of revenue-based strategy, targets, and the execution of plans resulting in positive business outcome and measurement of value ($).
  • Lead in-depth discovery and exploration of the SIMS in working across our Fan Intelligence Analytics & Data Science teams; Connected Technology; Fan Growth; & SIMs Data & Analytic teams staying up to date with trends; player profiles; SIMS marketing learning agendas; campaign strategies; growth strategies; lifecycle email and marketing efforts that are all valuable inputs into the potential development of new or improved revenue streams.
  • Influence new ways of progressive thinking that allows for greater ways to reach our SIMS players and fans that leads to a greater connection with EA.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years collaborating with teams across product, marketing, brand, analytics and finance
  • 5+ years in influencing analytics strategy and leading complex projects
  • 5+ years in leading diverse team of analysts, project managers, consultants
  • Project Management skills to handle competing schedules simultaneously
  • Project risk identification and mitigation
  • Experience presenting and conveying information understandably to varied audiences.
  • Experience leading formal or informal teams including partner management
  • Experience using analytics and data to influence decision-making
  • Experience aligning with multiple teams to meet a unified goal

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

$151,800 - $208,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
