Description

You can make a difference for climate and equity.

Slipstream inspires new solutions to big energy challenges. We are seeking a Managing Director of Education and Training to equip building professionals and trades with the technical skillsets needed to advance our mission of accelerating climate solutions for everyone. Our vision is a workforce capable of accelerating decarbonization in buildings through weatherization, building operations, construction, and contractor installations. We provide innovative solutions to the technical assistance services supporting program implementors, designers and practitioners in the field.

Do you want to build an equitable clean energy future? Do you have experience leading and developing teams to fulfill strategic initiatives? Are you a natural leader? Do you have experience developing ways to educate others? Do you communicate well with a wide variety of people? Then Slipstream needs you.

Our ideal Managing Director of Education and Training has experience in managing multiple teams, facilitating development of new education and training offerings, crafting strategic direction based on team and external input, and developing partnerships. Show us how you collaborate and how you include under-represented perspectives to drive inclusive ideas.

We partner with governments, philanthropies, and utilities to discover, test, and scale new solutions that save - and decarbonize - energy. We collaborate with communities of color, rural communities, and tribal nations to address historic inequities in the health and economic benefits of clean energy. We're optimistic, inclusive, and ambitious about our impact. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds. While our physical offices are in Madison, WI and Chicago, IL, we have remote staff in many other states and welcome candidates from Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas or Wisconsin.
