Job Description
Job Summary

Responsible for Third Party supply chain and operational activities for Third Party manufactured products marketed in North America region. Position responsibilities include, but not limited to, interacting with multicultural, Domestic and Global contract manufacturers, lead department problem resolution efforts, coordinate product logistics and movements, interface with distribution and quality associates regarding logistics issues, and provide analysis and reporting. This position relies on experience, judgment, and analysis to ensure targeted customer service levels are met. This role is comprised of elements of inventory, supply planning, market awareness and overall supply chain process.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with Third Party manufacturing plants to ensure inventories are supplied in a timely manner and at the proper levels. Conducts regular teleconferences with each plant to review supply topics and maintain an interactive communication.

  • Receives production schedules from Third Party manufacturing plants and performs detailed analysis to determine any supply variances.

  • Performs analysis of inventory & planned supply to create reports and presentation material.

  • Reviews replenishment plans and inventory levels to support monthly sales and operations planning processes, including analysis of expiration dates to mitigate inventory loss of short-dated product.

  • Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which enhance planning and operations.

  • Coordinates and communicates production unit information within the sales and marketing organizations. Provides regular updates on supply issues.

  • Responsible for coordinating inbound shipments with freight forwarders, freight broker and Distribution center teams, to include answering shipping document inquiries, prioritizing container shipments, and being TPM point of contact for all logistical issues.

  • Resolves all logistical related issues (i.e. temperature excursions, shipment damage, data logger logistics)

  • Coordinates with the Distribution center quality and logistics teams to communicate release priorities and monitor progress. Also coordinates with QA to schedule annual batch review process to minimize any impact to product release.

  • Responsible for transfer or released material from TPM to Market Unit in SAP (TLB). Notify warehouse of lots that need to be put away to complete the transfer.

  • Addresses invoicing and accounts payable issues with external supply partners and internal finance teams to ensure any issues are identified and properly handled in an expeditious manner.

  • Performs necessary functions within SAP including reviewing inventory reports and updating purchase order information as needed.

  • Works closely with Third Party manufacturing plants to ensure direct shipment replenishment into U.S. distribution centers are optimized.

  • Performs special projects, as assigned.

  • All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field.

  • Strong analytical skillswith the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Must have 3+ years of experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry.

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Possess excellent time management skills and can manage multiple priorities.

  • Communicates effectively with a broad range of multicultural, domestic and international partners

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is critical.

  • SAP experience is preferred

  • Must demonstrate effective decision-making skills.

  • Must have a strong knowledge of supply chain & inventory practices. Familiarity with manufacturing environment is desired

  • Operationally independent and self-motivated.

  • Understands customer service management.
