Position Overview

The Gap Closure Program Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing payer gap closure programs in close partnership with the Market Access team and their external payer customer. This position will work closely with payers, external vendors and internal business partners (Market Access directors, Revenue Cycle, CSIS, and CSM) to intake and execute new gap closure program orders.

This role is heavily focused on providing project management for payer gap closure programs.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key Gap Closure Program and commercial stakeholders.
  • Direct customer facing calls with payers to understand, onboard and deliver a successful Gap Closure Program.
  • Work with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors to manage scope, risks, timeline, resources, and project deliverables for Payer Gap Closure programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to align internal and external stakeholders.
  • Onboard payers through the Gap Closure Program intake process paying specific attention to detail, developing critical timelines and precise communication to manage payer expectations and program deliverables.
  • Define tasks and required resources necessary to complete projects and initiatives in a skillful and timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on progress of project deliverables to Gap Closure team members and leadership.
  • Identify risks and opportunities both with internal teams and external vendors; address and escalate, as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and thoroughness in accomplishing tasks.
  • Because most gap closure program orders are received in spreadsheet form, expertise with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Strong proof-reading skills to ensure error-free communications.
  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new assignments and responsibilities as they are identified.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with autonomy to drive progress on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to work on a designated schedule.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or field related to job duties; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 8+ Years of operational, sales, marketing, communications, project management or other related experience.
  • Expertise in Excel, including use of pivot table function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Exact Science's gap closure program.
  • Prior experience with revenue cycle or health insurance reimbursement.
  • Prior experience in a customer facing role within a sales organization.
  • Prior experience with project management.
  • Experience working in a matrix management organization with primary responsibility for success while relying on a team of resources which may or may not be direct reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT, risk management, change management, and strategic planning.

Salary Range:

$129,000.00 - $208,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
