Job Description
Position Title: Skilled Cabinet Builder - 1st Shift
Wage: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Are you someone who's got a knack for mechanics and a bit of hands-on cabinet building experience? Well, hold onto your hard hats because QPS Employment has just the gig for you, right here in West Bend! This customer is seeking experienced cabinetry builders to add to their growing team. Skilled Cabinet Builder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate limited production machinery.
- Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Communicate with operators from other areas of production as well as supervisors and managers.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
- Request raw materials.
- Maintain minimum supply adhering to just in time manufacturing principles.
Skilled Cabinet Builder Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery. 3. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
- Honesty, reliability, quality conscious, and good work ethic.
- Enthusiastic, highly organized, detail oriented, sense of urgency, good follow-up and customer service skills.
