Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Controller, the Financial Services Manager oversees cash application of customer payments and truck sales billing/administration. Responsible for resolving issues with customer payments and works with the Collections team as needed. This role requires significant knowledge of software and processes used by the organization, supervises the Accounts Receivable and Sales Administration teams, and is a point person for questions and resolution of issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Honor Commitments:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments and billing of truck sales transactions.

  • Perform month end duties and account reconciliations timely and accurately.

  • Foster positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Provide responsive and courteous communication to address inquiries and resolve issues, creating positive experiences for all parties involved.

Demonstrate Good Stewardship:

  • Ensure that the Accounts Receivable team properly applies customer payments and appropriately addresses overpayments or disputed items. Oversee the administration of OEM fleet payment programs. Work closely with credit and collections personnel to address customer concerns or issues.

  • Lead the Sales Administration team to ensure that truck sales are properly Invoiced. Maintain policies and procedures for accurate titling of equipment and the appropriate application of taxes and other fees. Ascertain that trailing issues are tied up in a timely manner.

Other Duties as Assigned:

  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting related role.

  • Prior supervision experience.

  • Ability to work effectively with peers to implement business process changes.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
