About the Role

The General Dynamics Land Systems Application Support Team is looking for a talented and customer-focused Applications Support Analyst. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and application guidance.

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Role

  • Maintain and update software configurations
  • Work with end-users to determine business requirements for enhanced functionality
  • Maintain systems documentation
  • Assist in the development of test plans and test procedures
  • Document business requirements with functional and technical specification documents
  • Develop and implement changes to the software based on user requirements
  • Install and test all changes and patches to the software environment
  • Update software to remediate security vulnerabilities
  • Support audit requirements related to SOX, cybersecurity, and other related requirements

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Application Support Analyst
  • Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)


Additional Information / Desired Experience
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Has experience with Information Technology security concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to think and react quickly to rapidly changing situations
  • Knowledge of computer network infrastructure and operating system concepts (Windows, LINUX)
  • Knowledge of relational database
  • Knowledge of application programming
  • Ability to work independently
